Teen Tech Week grant

Happily planning Teen Tech Week 2015 with the help of my first grant award from YALSA! We will be piloting a Minecraft Mods program (modeled after Sonoma County’s Minecraft Coding Camp). I’ve been meeting with avid teen Minecrafters at various skill levels who are keen on leading & facilitating sessions, and am excited to see how this all shakes out! I’m also thrilled at the prospect of buying tablets dedicated for teen use. To date, our teen space does not have any hardware whatsoever, and even the addition of 3 or 4 tablets will greatly improve access. Yay, YALSA!
